Tulai Jawara Ceesay is the Executive Director of the National Agency Against Trafficking in Person (NAATIP) in Banjul, The Gambia. She began her legal career in London, UK, where she was called to the bar of England and Wales in 2004 and as a member of the Honorable Society of Middle Temple. As a lawyer in The Gambia, she has an extensive knowledge and experience in matters involving Human Rights Law, Labor Migration, and Intellectual Property Law. As an advocate, Tulai has participated and presented in many forums regionally and internationally to combat human trafficking. Her passion and goal is to eliminate the trafficking of girls and women globally.
